got the rear leafs installed today, finding sleaves for the shackle mount bushings was a bitch, just ended up buying a stick of pipe and making our own.
moved/beef spring mounts

we are gunna run a plate from the bottom of the mount to the frame to triangulate it and so that the hanger doesent hang up on shit. also made these bad ass rock anchors, there gunna get braced as well, just wanted to get it onto its wheels, top is obv the stock shackel, bottom is new.

finaly got it back onto its wheels

got some 4" speakers mounted in the doors aswell for when we do get a stereo in there

killed a drill haha, dont buy a $15 wal-mart drill

very happy with what got done this weekend, it has come a long way for only 2 weekends worth of work.

them shackles look long, are they the finished product? the thickness looks to be on the thin side, you may find that you'll be twisting them to hell when the truck flex's.

snoopdog4519- 04-27-2008

HOLY CRAP,
that is insane.

Dave_D- 04-27-2008

the shackels arent done, we are planning on putting braces, or plating one side, or both we'll see

true posi burnouts rule. so glad i welded the diff

It doesnt pass cuz the welds are bad enough to fail on visual well I wish you good luck

that would so suck if you accidentally welded the shafts into the third :P

hes not craig, give him sum credit

fred0000- 04-28-2008

comparision shot, looks like we got a little bit of lift, dident measure so dont know how much lift :p

89runner- 04-28-2008

even if your boxing in those shackles, they will most likely still bend, i say get some thicker plate

got the spring mounts braced up and lookin beefy, cut out some triangles

plated the bottom

looks much better now

relocated the rear brake line aswell

did the rear brake pads while we were in there aswell, needed to be done

and backed in to start the front spring install

should get a start on that tomarow after we fix the rear brakes. not to bad for a sat evening though :)

RawDawg- 05-04-2008

lookin scabtastic 8) is it an optical illusion in the picture of the leafs or are they different lengths?

ToyFanOnNissanBudget- 05-04-2008

rear brakes werent working, needed to replace one of the wheel cylenders, did that 1st thing and the brakes work awesome now.
our font leaves rear pack with 2 military leafs

installed, i like where the axle was moved to

and who the hell said push pull wouldent work with rears up front (this is only temp so we can move it around)

front driveshaft cut to length and installed

front and rear lifted took er out and tested it a little.

defenatly need new shackles, these babys look ready to fold

we measured this time, got 4 inches of lift in the front, its level now, so front and rear are pretty even.
