Kicker Build
so after wheelin with a few zuk's my friend got this idea of buying a sidekick and throwing on some linked suspension :lol:.... after much persuasion towards a complete custom setup he opted for a bolt on kit by trailtough :roll: but for it's worth...the kit is well engineered and went together quite easily....
I don't have a before pic so here's the front axle after the link mounts were welded on


IFS ripped the hell out... and once again my beefy saw horses rose to the challenge lol

after all the holes were drilled and welding done it was time for the axles




I don't have a pic of it out of the shop yet, as his knuckle rebuild kit was incomplete so we never did finish...but all it needs is the front end rebuilt, drive shafts, brake lines, and the exhaust has to be re-routed to avoid the rear links...but it is deffiantly the biggest sidekick i've seen and no longer looks gay...except for those krawlers :lol:

we took it out for a litte poser flex test today, still some little things to tidy up begore it's trail ready

what joints are those look beefy so 3 link front 4 link rear did you calclate it all or just wing it? that link crossmember is badass 8) and it looks easier then I thought maybe ill have too look around for a tracker

the joints are beefy but they have a course thread on them I personally don't like them, but you could swap them out...
and yes it's a kit just bolted on (GAY) lol.... I'm sure we'll need to tweek it a bit in the future but it works....

how much is the kit?

Well it came complete with driveshafts, brake lines, toy high steer, etc... for $2700... which isn't too bad...I guess... Which is an advantage for someone wilt limited time/tools/skills...

All just trace the stuff for ya lol...
